Types of Asian Arowana we supply

In total we have 10 different varieties of Asian Arowana.

They are as follows

Red 2 Arowana (Banjar Red, Yellow Tail Arowana)

Description: A natural variant of the Red Arowana, Adult colour would be grayish green with pinkish or yellow fins and tail.
Juveniles look quite similar to the Red Arowana.

Red Tail Gold Arowana

Description: Originates from the Pekanbaru river system in Sumatra.
Scale base colour may range from blue, green, or even gold.
Important characteristic would be the gold rim on the outer edge of each scale, which reaches the fourth scale level.

High Back Golden Arowana

Description: A higher grade of the Red Tail Gold Arowana, The High Back Golden Arowana will have its gold rims on the 5th level.

Electric Blue Cross Back Arowana

Description: Originates from the Bukit Merah Lake in Perak, Malaysia. Our most basic Cross Back. It will display a slight tinge of blue or may sometimes be a fully gold coloured Cross Back. When young, its gold rims may only be at the fourth level but as it mature and with proper tanning, the gold rims will slowly but surely rise and intensify with age, crossing its back (sixth level) when it is fully grown.

Super Grade Electric Blue Cross Back Arowana

Description: Our Super Grade Electric Blue Cross Back Arowana, has a deep and prominent blue shine at the core of it's scales with the gold rim on the out edge. In general it has a thinner gold rim then our other cross back. Although as some mature, the gold may extend into the core, causing the Arowana to have a more golden shine to it. When viewed from far, at an angle, or as it swims, our Super Grade Electric Blue Cross Back will reflect its true blue coloration. An arowana with thin gold rims and intense blue core is highly sought after by hobbyists.

Premium High Gold Cross Back Arowana

Description: Gold core, with gold rims. Through years of selective breeding, we have manage to isolate the gold gene, and breed fully gold Arowana. Not only will it's core be gold with the standard golden rims at the outer edge, but it will have a nice set of pearlie at it's dorsal fin. The Premium High Gold Cross Back Arowana's gold will intensify and rise much faster, then our basic Electric Blue Cross Back.

Royal Gold Cross Back Arowana

Description: The highest grade of our golden cross back, the Royal Gold Cross Back Arowana, displays exceptional potential at a young age. With proper care, environment and lighting, it's gold will fully cross over, including it's head, giving it a solid gold colour all round.
A truly magnificent species.

Super Grade Red Splendor Cross Back

Description: A cross between our Golden Cross Back Arowana , and our Red Arowana. The result being the Super Grade Red Splendor Cross Back. Due to it's hybrid origin, it will display the colour characteristics of the gold cross back Arowana with a red shine to it. Depending on the set of breeders, a bluish-reddish shine on it's scales is also possible.

Chili Red Arowana





 Description: Red Arowana originate from the Kapuas River system in Kalimantan. Along the river, there are slight variation in the colouring of the Red Arowana. Our Chili Red Arowana, are our more conventional Red Arowana. As juveniles, their scales will be silvery in colour, but as they mature, the red colouration will become more and more prevalent. As a adult, it will develop a stunning orange red to extremely dark red, with the core ranging from green, orange, purple, or a mix of the three.

Violet Fusion Super Red Arowana

Description: Our Violet Fusion Super Red Arowana, is our top grade Red Arowana. It is graded best on it's superior colour, shape, and form. Its tail tend to be larger, and possess longer pectoral fins giving off a much more majestic form.

  



Disclaimer: Each individual Asian Arowana is special. No two piece of Asian Arowana is ever the same. Each has it's own unique (however slight) colouration, patterns and personality. The care of the Arowana plays a very important part in how it matures.
